From vortex flow, solids handling pumps to high volume
axial flow models, to high head water pumps, centrifugal screw pumps, shredder pumps,
and models with agitators to pump sand and slurries, we offer the widest variety
of models to handle the most demanding jobs. Unlike many of our competitors that
fabricate their pumps, Hydra-Tech pumps are cast in various metals to insure consistency
and parts compatibility and interchangeability. Many of our designs are derived
from customers requesting unique pumps to handle specific requirements. Through

Power-Matched Hydraulic Power Units
Hydra-Tech hydraulic power units are designed to provide
the optimum power output to match the hydraulic requirements of our submersible
pumps. They are designed to provide years of reliable service with minimal maintenance.
Our power units include features such as hydraulic oil coolers, return filters with
spin-on cartridges, system relief valves with oil recirculation circuit and easy
access to service points. Our models range from small portables to skid mounted
units to highway trailer packages that meet or exceed state D.O.T. requirements.
Engines and hydraulic pumps are closely matched to optimize system performance,
fuel efficiency and service life. Our power units have been designed to run on a
wide variety of standard hydraulic oils as well as the newest non-toxic, biodegradable
oils.

Our Pump Systems
The best efficiencies are produced when a pump and power
unit are designed together as a "system". To get the most out of a hydraulic submersible
pump, you have to design the power unit to deliver the needed horsepower at the
correct flow and pressure and the Hydra-Tech pump systems do this. Also, each of
our power units can run pumps of various designs. For example, our 25hp power unit
will drive a 4" trash pump, an 8" high volume pump, a 3" high head pump, a 4” shredder
pump for chopping municipal waste and a 4" centrifugal screw impeller pump for viscous
materials. This combination of 1 power unit and 5 pumps represents a "system" approach
that provides optimal utilization of the power unit.
Custom Power Units
Many times an application arises that cannot be handled
by one of our standard hydraulic power units. Sometimes a custom unit may be the
answer. We have the capability to design and build electric motor driven units,
multiple circuit power units and engine driven power units using alternative fuels.
We can build power units on oversized trailers to allow the transport of additional
hoses as well as additional tools. If you don’t see a standard model that fits your
requirements, please give us a chance to quote a custom unit to meet your needs.
