The best efficiencies are produced when a pump and power unit are designed together as a "system". To get the most out of a hydraulic submersible pump, you have to design the power unit to deliver the needed horsepower at the correct flow and pressure and the Hydra-Tech pump systems do this.
Also, each of our power units can run pumps of various designs. For example, our 25hp power unit will drive a 4" trash pump, an 8" high volume pump, a 3" high head pump and a 4" centrifugal screw impeller pump for viscous materials. This combination of power unit and four pumps also represents a "system" which provides optimal utilization of the power unit.
